What began as a simple hobby has turned into a busy and exciting photography business. Johnston Photography was officially founded in 2004 by Paul Johnston but its roots began much earlier. His natural abilities and proven eye for details when combined with his broad industry and life experiences make a world of difference in capturing special moments and delivering professional results.

We use whatever tools and resources it takes to capture great shots including professional digital cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, software, and other specialized equipment, as well as continual training and education to keep our technical skills sharp.

Paul resides in the Salt Lake City, Utah area with his beautiful wife and five children. He has a bachelor's degree in business marketing from the University of Utah and has achieved success in several business ventures and is a creative person and entrepreneur at heart. Paul is a board member of the Utah Photo Arts Association.
